Facilities can also be rented for special events.
Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami Dade County has three theaters ranging in seating capacity from 200 to 2,400. Additionally, there is a 57,000-square-foot plaza suitable for free outdoor performances, as well
as many small and flexible lounges, salons, and spaces that can be transformed into the most intimate
of performance venues.

Sanford and Dolores Ziff Ballet Opera House
- Seating capacity: 2,400
- Stagehouse dimensions: 130’ ft. wide, 70 ft. deep, approx. 120 ft. high
- Proscenium stage and state-of-the-art technical capabilities are designed to serve the most complex of productions, ranging from hit Broadway plays and musicals to opera, ballet, and dance companies.
- Classic interior horseshoe design will offer excellent sightlines from four levels of seating.
- The exuberantly designed Hibiscus Proscenium Curtain is being created by Robert Rahway Zakanitch and commissioned by Miami-Dade Art in Public Places.
- The Carlin Banquet Hall (capacity 120 people), within the Ballet Opera House, is a convenient and comfortable space for for pre- and post-performance dinners and parties.

Knight Concert Hall
- Seating capacity: 2,200
- Concert Platform: 2,500 Sq. feet
- Suitable for a wide array of music concerts—classical, world, urban, Latin pop, rock ‘n’ roll, jazz, and more—stand-up comedy, or any theatrical event requiring minimal backstage area.
- An interior shoebox design will include seating on four levels and, when not in use by a chorus, the area behind the stage will allow audiences to experience a unique view of the performance.
- Ground floor seats can be covered by a festival floor, converting the concert hall into an elegant ballroom or romantic cabaret.
- The glass-enclosed Champagne Lobby on the upper levels will offer patrons spectacular views of the Port of Miami and Biscayne Bay.

Carnival Studio Theater
- Flexible seating capacity: up to 200
- Dimensions: 69 ft., 6 in. deep x 59 ft., 9 in. wide
- Intimately designed black-box space, along with versatile sound, lighting and scenery systems, allows maximum programming, staging, and seating flexibility.
- Ideally suited for cutting-edge performances of contemporary and classic plays, dance, music, physical theater, cabaret, and other entertainment.

Parker and Vann Thomson Plaza for the Arts
- A large outdoor space (up to 57,000 square feet) connecting the Ballet Opera House and Symphony Hall across Biscayne Boulevard.
- A magnificent site for outdoor entertainment.
- Brilliantly decorated with colorful terrazzo and tile surfaces.
- Expansive setting for Gary Moore’s Pharaoh’s Dance, a site-specific art installation drawing from the rhythm, essence and creative impulse of American jazz, and Anna Valentina Murch’s stylized benches and fountain decorations, commissioned by Miami-Dade Art in Public Places.
